Daniel John Fornal, 68, of Cochranton, passed away, at UPMC Mercy in Pittsburgh on May 29th 2019 at 1:30pm after a long tough battle from a stroke and cancer. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy A. and Stephen L. Fornal of Oil City and his son Jason Fornal of Oil City and his life companion, Linda Snyder.
Dan spent most of his life as a very hard worker. He worked for Cubbins Lumber Company in Plumer, PA and as a Truck Driver for Ward Trucking Company. He loved his life companion of 40+ years Linda Snyder and his step daughter Robin Fornal of Franklin very much.
He loved to hunt, and fish when he could. He had a great passion for his beloved dogs and cats as well. He enjoyed collecting firearms, and also loved to target practice. He also loved to ride his Harleys.
Daniel is survived by his daughter, Jeanette (Mark) Mason of New York and his four grandchildren,
He is survived by his brothers, Steve (Sandra) Fornal of Mansfield, Texas, and brother Andrew J. Fornal (A.J.) of Cochranton PA and sister Cheryl (Frank) Musheno of Williamsport, PA, as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
In keeping with his wishes, Dan chose to be cremated. There will be no services. Dan would in turn would wish that his friends remember the good times and fond memories shared over a cold beer.
