Amanda Beth Bockhouse, 41, of Arnold passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 16th, in her childhood home, her mother at her side. Mandy worked for the Collection Service Center in New Kensington. She enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting gifts for loved ones, doing needlepoint, reading, watching HGTV, and visiting the Outer Banks. She absolutely loved roses. She is survived by her two children, Aaron Marts and Haley Groncki (Cody) both of New Kensington; her grandson, Elias Groncki of New Kensington; her parents, Richard and Christine Ansani of Arnold; her sister, Sarah Ansani of Altoona; her aunt, Stephanie Callahan of New Kensington, her uncle, Harold Beatty of New Kensington; her aunt, Lynn Calcagno of Arnold; and numerous cousins. Mandy wanted to share her appreciation for the Oncology Department at Allegheny Valley Hospital, especially Dr. Sarah Miller. She also wanted to share her appreciation for her hospice staff: Christine Daugherty, Kalyn Waldor, Michelle Moorehead, Julia Fetterman, Carol Phillips, and Diane DeSarno. Her entire family is grateful for their passion and dedication. In accordance with her wishes, a funeral will not be held. Her life will be celebrated at the Girl Scouts Little House in New Kensington on a date still to be determined.
