Barbara Leasure

Barbara Leasure, 71, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at Saint John Specialty Care, in Mars, PA. Born October 29, 1949, in Butler, PA, she was the daughter of George and Patricia Snyder. Barbara loved children and ran her own licensed daycare for many years. She is survived by two daughters, Stacey (John) Ahrens, Ashley Martinez and her partner David Nowakowski, both of Butler, two stepchildren, Shane Leasure of Butler and Tawna Kanzler of Auburn, Maine, four sisters, Patty (Robert) Clark of Butler, Judy (Lamar) Uber of New Castle, Jill (Robert) Mick of Butler and Amy (Brian) Higgins of Butler. Barb also had nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Barb is also survived by her cat and constant companion Charlie, whom she loved so much. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Leasure. There will be no service as per her wishes.
