Barbara J Luffey

Barbara June Luffey, 73, of New Kensington, formerly of Natrona Heights, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 9, 1952, in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of the late Edwin J and June L Southward.

Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Richard J. Luffey. She is survived by her loving siblings, Marcia D. (Karl) Christy, Robert (Mary) Southward, and her twin sister, Beverly J. Short, widow of the late William Short. She also leaves behind many adoring nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will cherish her memory.

Barbara found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, whether gathered together in person or sharing conversations over the phone. She enjoyed sewing, playing the piano, and creating lasting memories through her many adventures with her late husband. One of their most treasured experiences was an Alaskan cruise that they fondly remembered.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Central Presbyterian Church, 305 Allegheny Street, Tarentum, PA 15084.
