Bonita "Bonnie" Kay Wonderling, 78, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2024, with her loving family by her side. Born on July 13, 1946, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Mary (Callahan) Woodfill. Bonnie was the devoted wife of the late Floyd Wonderling.
She is survived by her cherished children: Charmaine (Glenn) Foreman, Michael Hawkins, and Brett (Ivory) Wonderling. She was a proud grandmother to William Granstrom, Ryan Granstrom, Megan Granstrom, Shauna Moskal, Andrew Hawkins, Ashley Hawkins, Sharmaine Wonderling, and eight great-grandchildren.
Bonnie had a passion for karaoke and treasured the time she spent with her family. Raised in the Pittsburgh area, she later lived in Tempe, AZ, for many years before returning to New Kensington, PA. For the past five years, Bonnie resided at Platinum Ridge in Brackenridge.
In honoring her wishes, services will be private and are entrusted to RJ Slater IV Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Kensington.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial donations be made in Bonnie’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
