Brandon Thomas Gardone, 50, of New Kensington, PA, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, November 14, 2024. He was born on July 18, 1974, to the late Paul Gardone and Sharon ( surviving stepfather George) Vogeley
A graduate of Burrell High School in 1992, Brandon went on to earn a degree from the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts. He was passionate about cooking and spent many years working as a chef, including at Nemacolin and several other establishments in the Alle-Kiski Valley.
Brandon is survived by his two daughters, Kaitlyn Gardone and Julia Gardone; seven siblings, Wayne Gardone, Tracey (Cheryl) Gardone, Kelly (Edmund) Homa, Aaron (Sara) Gardone, Jason Gardone, Stacy (Edward) Stimel, and Andrew (Kelly) Gardone; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Along with his parents Brandon was predeceased by his brother Brian.
A true food lover, Brandon was known for his love of cooking and his generous spirit, often carving the turkey at family Thanksgiving gatherings and ensuring no meat was left behind. As a child, he enjoyed fishing, playing football and baseball, and was an avid supporter of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. In his later years, he cherished spending time with family and enjoyed many friendly rounds of 500 Rum.
