Brenda Girt

Brenda L. Girt, a resident of Vandergrift, passed away on July 2, 2023, at the age of 73 after a courageous battle with cancer.. She was born on June 10, 1950, in Vandergrift to her late parents, Arthur and Bertha E. Girt.

Brenda was the beloved sister to James (Catherine) Girt and Virginia Beck Bray. She is survived by her two nieces, Barbara (George) Hubbard and Melissa Girt, and two nephews, Joseph (Melanie) Beck and Gary (Gina) Beck.

A Graveside service with Military Honors will be held on July 17th at 2 pm at the NATIONAL CEMETERY OF THE ALLEGHENIES in Bridgeville, PA.

Arrangements for Brenda's funeral are being handled by RJ Slater IV Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at 1000 Freeport Road in New Kensington (724-335-0100).
