Carmella J. Corbin

Our dear mother Carmella J. Corbin 92, returned home to the Lord on September 1, 2024.
She passed peacefully surrounded by family at St. Anne Home Greensburg. Carmella was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Raffaela (Morelli) Posteraro. Carmella was a member of Mount Saint Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington and the Addolorata Society. She was a survivor of Non-Hodkins Lymphoma.
As a young mother, she was a stay-at-home mom who was always active in her children’s school activities.
She enjoyed cooking, shopping, vacations, summer outdoor cookouts, spending time with family and special weekend trips with her girlfriends.
She was always the life of the party, enjoyed meeting new friends and bringing laughter and joy to all who knew her.
She was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates, enjoyed watching golf and playing Wii bowling.
She is survived by her children, John Corbin, Robert Corbin, Elaine Corbin, Diane (Ronald) Cava and
grand children Stefanie (Chad) West, Jackie (Michael) Rohm, and great – grandchildren Veanna, Emme, Landon and Grace along with many wonderful nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward E. Corbin, daughter Jeannette Corbin and son
Edward (Eddie) Corbin Jr. siblings Helen Ziccarelli, Rocco Posteraro, John Posteraro.
The family would like to send a special thank- you to the staff at St Anne Home for the compassionate care and friendship they provided to her.

Prayers and transfer will be said Friday morning At 10:30am
Followed by Christian Funeral mass at 11:00 Am in Mount Saint Peter Church 100 Freeport Road
New Kensington. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery Arnold PA
