Charles R. Johnson, 80, of New Kensington, passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018. He was born Feb. 16, 1938, in Barking, Pa, to the late Charles and Lula Bell Johnson. Charles is the beloved husband of Carmen (Alvarez) Johnson for 57 loving years; father of Toni (Charles) Roberts, Mark Johnson and the late Melanie Robertson. Charles has eight younger siblings, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He proudly served in the Air Force.
