Christopher “Howdy” Deighan, 62, of Carnegie, PA, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024.
Born in Pittsburgh on October 12, 1962, he was the beloved son of Roseann (Arabia) and the late Edward Deighan. Chris is survived by his siblings Edward Deighan, Karen Spina, Michael (Francine) Deighan, and his twin sister Christine (Kenny) Brennen.
Known affectionately as "Howdy," Chris was a kind and gentle soul with a big heart. He was devoted to his family, always there for his mom and a steady right hand to his brother, whether helping at the cabinet shop, maintaining their mother’s home, or caring for his brother Ed. Music was his passion, and he could always identify who was playing on the radio. Chris loved nothing more than relaxing on the porch with a Mountain Dew in one hand and a Reese’s cup in the other, sharing laughs and stories. A Pittsburgh sports fan through and through, he cheered for the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins, unafraid to shout at the TV when a call didn’t go their way.
Chris will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Services will be private and are entrusted to R.J. Slater IV Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Kensington, PA. For more information, please visit www.rjslater.com or call 724-335-0100.
