Christopher Walmsley

Christopher Walmsley, 49, of New Kensington, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022, with his family by his side. Chris was born in New Kensington, PA, on October 7, 1972, to Louise (Dunbar) and the late Daune Walmsley. Beloved husband of 26 years to Sherrie (Drane) Walmsley, loving father of Tyler and Halie, and dear brother of Tracy Walmsley. His mother-in-law, Christine Drane, and his large extended family will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, along with his father.

Chris worked as a Journeyman Precision Grinder for Acutronics USA Inc.
He loved tropical beach vacations, watching the Penguins game, playing Cornhole, but most important it was time spent with his family and best friend Don Stanley.

Friends and family will be received on Wednesday from 1 to 3 & 6 to 9 p.m. at RJ Slater IV Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1000 Freeport Rd., New Kensington. 724-335-0100. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel Thursday at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made directly to the family.
