Christopher J. White, age 63, of Plum Boro, peacefully passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. He is now reunited with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Chris was the cherished husband of Phyllis White and a loving father to Vanessa White, Ashley (Larry) Yafchak, and Marshall White. He was also a proud stepfather of Marco Testa and the late Mario Testa . His grandchildren, Tayvian Testa and Giovanni Testa, brought immense joy to his life. Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Janice F. and Samuel D. White, and his brother Daniel. He is survived by his brothers Scott, and David White; dear aunt, Judith White, and numerous nieces and nephews who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Chris found unwavering support and love in his wife, Phyllis, whose companionship meant the world to him. As a father, he was a firm yet loving guide, instilling the values of hard work, respect, and strength in his children, preparing them for life's challenges.
One of Chris's greatest joys was spending time in the garage, tinkering and working on projects with his grandson, Tayvian. Despite occasional frustrations, these moments together were cherished deeply. At home, Chris shared a special bond with the family dog, Whiskey, always sneaking him treats.
Chris loved creating lasting memories with family and friends, whether it was riding his Harley-Davidson with Phyllis and their riding buddies or enjoying time at his friends' hunting camp, where hunting and friendly card games brought him joy.
Although Chris's earthly journey has ended, his love, laughter, and words of wisdom will continue to resonate with all who knew him. Until we meet again, ride on, Chris.
A celebration of his life will be held in the coming weeks; details will follow.
