Christy Lynn Roland, 51, of Latrobe, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 16, 2025. Born December 17, 1973, to Geraldine Marciano, Christy was the cherished companion of Brian Lawrence and loving mother of Amy (Jimmy Stewart) Roland and Kayla (Richard) Plack Jr.
She is survived by her brother, Doug Roland, and was a doting grandmother to Landon Lopes, Rynn Plack, Avery Stewart, and Elijah Plack.
Christy dedicated a portion of her life to the medical field as an EMT. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as horseback riding and visits to Twin Lakes Park, where she met her true love, Brian. She cherished spending quality time with friends and family, especially during autumn walks amidst the changing leaves. Christy was an avid fan of TV shows like NCIS and Chicago Fire & PD, and she found solace in listening to her favorite band, Metallica. Her passion for scrapbooking reflected her creative spirit.
Known for her caring and loving heart, gentle soul, and enduring impact on those around her, Christy will be deeply missed and forever remembered. She is survived by her devoted husband, Brian Lawrence, loving daughters Kayla and Amy, and adoring grandchildren Landon Bug, Rynn, Avery, and Elijah.
Christy's favorite prayer was the Serenity Prayer.
