Craig Beveridge

Craig M. Beveridge, 74, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 with his family by his side. Craig was the beloved husband of 52 years of Susan M. Beveridge, loving father of Lisa, Cassie and Adrienne (husband Kevin), grandfather of Jacqueline, Craig, Nora and Lochlan, and brother of Becky Briney (husband Tom).
Craig was born in Arnold, PA on Feb 6, 1946 to the late Louis and Betty Beveridge. He went to Purdue where he met the love of his life, Susan and later graduated from the University of Pittsburgh. Craig served in the Army Reserves for 6 years. Always the entrepreneur, he started several businesses, including a bar, the Six Pence, a discoteque, The Big Apple and a very successful gourmet candy brokerage, GourmeTexas Inc. which he owned and ran with his wife for nearly 20 years. He loved traveling with his wife and 3 daughters, visiting amusement parks, historical places and even ventured through Italy and Greece for his 50th wedding anniversary. He eventually moved back to the Pittsburgh area to be near his extended family, childhood friends and granddaughter Nora.
Craig was soft spoken and adventurous with a wonderful, dry sense of humor. He loved spending time with his family and friends. There will be no service as per his wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
