Damian Askin

Damian Askin, 41 of lower Burrell pa, passed away on January 12, 2022. He was born on June 10, 1980 in Dublin Ireland, to Joan and the late Peter Askin. Beloved Husband of Samantha for 16 years.
Father of Kian Joseph Askin, Stepson to Seamus Murray, Brother of Ciaran (Joanne) Askin, Nephew to Tony Connolly. Son in law of Richard and Kim Byrne, Brothers in law, Sisters in law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Damian Also leaves behind close friends Nancy and Danny Hogan, friends in both Ireland and United States.

At the young age of 4 Damian discovered a passion for Tae Kwon do, eventually becoming a 5th Degree Master under Master Joe Cosentino. He enjoyed playing guitar and having the “Craic” and a good sing song. He loved a good fresh pint of Guinness and great game of billiards. Loved by his furry little pals Gizmo and Missy! But his proudest moment was becoming a father to his son Kian.

Family and friends are welcome on Monday, January 17, 2022, from 4 until time of service at 8 PM, at RJ Slater IV Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1000 Freeport Road, New Kensington, Pa 724-335-0100.
