David C. Gardiner, 62, son of the late David Gardiner and Agnes Jean Gardiner (nee Ambrose) went home to be with Jesus, his Lord and Savior. He died peacefully in his sleep on February 8, 2022.
David was born on February 10, 1959 in Pittsburgh, PA. He also lived in the Cleveland, Ohio area for many years. For the last 14 years, he resided in Delmont, PA. He leaves behind a son, David B. Gardiner (Rachel) of Columbus, Ohio and a daughter, Jacqueline Gardiner of Ravenna, Ohio, also three grandchildren, Nickolas Boykin (U.S. Army) (Dakota), Nadene Gardiner and Silas Gardiner and one great grandchild, Nora Gardiner.
He will be greatly missed by his sisters, CAPT (retired) Eileen Falzini (Ray) of Delmont, PA, Reverend Susan Brown (Duane) of Irwin, PA and his brother, William (Fran) of O’hara Township.
David worked as a machinist most of his life. Over the years, he enjoyed fishing, hiking, all of nature, running marathons, writing, artistry and rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers. In his later years, David enjoyed planning vegetable gardens so his neighbors could enjoy the yield. He also loved to help a few of his neighbors out by mowing their lawn.
David found comfort in reading his Bible and is now at home with his risen Lord.
