David R. Sadowski, 66, of Apollo, passed comfortably at home in the company of family. He was born Nov. 9, 1958, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Richard H. Sadowski and Beverly Yvonne Ponikvar Sadowski. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Rebecca A. Brunner; two daughters, Kristi Diane Carroll and Nicole Lynn Sadowski; three siblings, Linda Strawser, Jimmy Sadowski, and Sue Sadowski Pyle,; as well as several other honorary family members, both by blood and friendship.
Dave was a man you could always depend on with a gift for electric work, he was often "the light" amongst the Brunner family, and a source of power to those who depended on him. He was adored at work where he was a Master Technician, and referred to as, "The Man" because he could do anything. His home life was no different, a loving husband, and late in life barn builder, Dave was "the man" of the house to Becky, and dogs, ZoZoZoeynduke, Meow Meow, and a barn of cows and horses. Dave's life was full of motorcycle rides, peanut butter cups, mowing the lawn, and Becky's cookies, all of his favorite things.
May our memories of him be as sweet as the joys that brightened Dave's life. The family will not be arranging a funeral service at this time but encourages you to share photos and memories of Dave.
