Evangeline Lincoln

Evangeline Lincoln, 94, of New Kensington, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. Beloved wife of the late David H. Lincoln Sr. and long-time companion Charles Robinson. Loving mother of Jacqueline Lincoln, Alan L. (Mary Jo) Lincoln, Henry Lincoln, and the late David H. Jr. and Angela Webb. Grandmother of Michelle Carter, Curtis Green, Montel Lincoln, Lance Lincoln, Kayshala Lincoln, and Shavonne Lincoln. Great-grandmother to many and aunt to several nieces and nephews. Dear sister of Joan Stokes, and the late Jacqueline, June, Jack Jr., and Carlos. She is survived by her good friend Ruth Robinson.


Evangeline was a devout Christian; she sat as the Head of the Deaconess Board, played the organ, and read her bible daily. She especially loved to bake. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Staff of Community Life and The Willows Presbyterian Senior Care for the excellent care.

Visitation will be from 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am Friday at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 1150 Asa W. Roberts Way (formerly 4th Ave.), New Kensington, with Pastor Darryl Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park.
