Frank E. Fitzpatrick

Unexpectantly, Frank E. Fitzpatrick, 83, passed away on December 24, 2024. Frank was a loving man devoted to his beloved wife and much-loved children and grandchildren. Frank was a Naval Veteran and had many fond memories of his four years as a naval jet engine mechanic. He made many, lifetime friends through his association with Bill W. and was grateful for all those relationships, enjoyed for over 54 years. Frank was retired from the PA Department of Corrections as an Instructor Carpenter, a job that he loved for 16 years. Frank had a passion for golf, music, carpentry, and reading. Over the past few years, he enjoyed his TV time with his loving wife and his constant companion, Junior, his beloved kitty cat, since he spent much of those days housebound. In spite of his limitations, he always found ways to express his gratitude for all that God had blessed him with over the years.

Frank was born December 5, 1941, to the late Frank James Fitzpatrick and Anna Mae Glenn of Pittsburgh where Frank resided his entire life. Frank is survived by his devoted wife and loving caregiver of 32 years, Sharon (Rodish) Fitzpatrick, three children, Dawn Pizzo (Anthony), Brian Fitzpatrick (Veera) and Eileen Harvey (Clint), his grandchildren, Jamie Hudyma, David Hudyma, Shianne Evans (Chris), Melody Fitzpatrick, Halle Jourdan-Roche, Maisey Harvey, and Evelyn Harvey, and great-grandchildren Raylan, Aubrey, Natalie, Emily, and Jake.

Frank was greatly loved and was often consulted for his wise counsel. His family and friends are feeling the loss of his departure from this world but cherishing the memories that they will always hold deeply close to their hearts, waiting for the day that they will all meet again.

A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.
