Frank Monteleone

Frank Rocco “Munch” Monteleone, 83, of Lower Burrell, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries Nursing Home, Cabot after a battle with cancer. He was born in New Kensington on November 11, 1939, to the late Frank R. and Anna Pascala Monteleone and was a life resident of the Lower Burrell/Arnold communities.

Frank graduated from Arnold High school in 1958 and worked as a bricklayer for ATI Allegheny Ludlum in Brackenridge. He was of the Catholic faith and in his spare time, he enjoyed traveling and trips to the casino.

Frank is survived by his children: Jeff Monteleone and Kelley (Denny) Russell; grandchildren: Taylor and Ryan Russell and Seth Monteleone; He is also survived by sister–in-laws: Rose, Mirriam, and Irene Monteleone and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Reynold, John, Sam and Bart Monteleone and a sister, Elizabeth McNeil.

Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at RJ SLATER IV FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Service 1000 Freeport Rd., New Kensington. A blessing service will be held on Thursday at 10 AM in the funeral home.
