Gail Cook, 82, of New Kensington, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at her son's home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on August 23, 1943, Gail was the daughter of the late Richard and Lucille Myers. She graduated from Ken High and began her career with the U.S. Information Agency in Washington, D.C. She later worked as a sales representative for Insulations Inc. and retired from Medal Building Insulation Plus.

Gail is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Kimberly) Cook, and her daughter, Lorie Pink. She was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother to Jessica Meyers, Shannon Cook, Ellie Cook, Heath Pink, Emmie Meyers, Hayes Meyers, and Merrick Meyers.

She is also survived by her brothers, Thomas Myers and Daniel Myers, and her sisters, Joyce Stimel and Karen Hixson.

In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Cook; her son, Joseph Cook; her sister, Donna Beacom; and her brother, William Myers.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Monark Hospice for the exceptional care, compassion, and support provided to Gail and her family during this difficult time.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Church at 10 a.m. on Thursday June 25th 2026. Interment will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Cecil Township at 12:20 PM.
