In Loving Memory of Gary Alan Beer Jr.
Upper Burrell bid a somber farewell to one of its own on Thursday, September 14, 2023, as Gary Alan Beer Jr. passed away at the age of 40. Gary was born on December 20, 1982, in New Kensington to his proud parents, Susan (Dulnikowski) Beer of Apollo, PA, and Gary (Diane Irwin) Beer Sr. of Springhill, FL.
A beloved brother, Gary is survived by his sister, Lara (Troy McCain) Eddy of Butler, and he held the cherished roles of uncle and godfather to Samantha Eddy. He was also a nephew to George Beer of Vandergrift, PA, Sue Albenese of Colorado, and Veronica Dulnikowski of Lower Burrell, along with numerous cousins. Gary shared a special bond with his loyal canine companion, Dixon, and considered many of his friends as an extension of his family.
Gary's passing was preceded by that of his grandparents, Charles and Irene Dulnikowski and George and Lois Beer, as well as his uncles Ronald and Robert "Duck" Dulnikowski and Jeff Beer.
Gary graduated from Burrell High School in 2001 and embarked on a career at NEP Group Inc. He had a deep passion for racing cars, attending motorcycles races, Camping with friends and the intricate art of mechanics.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Monday, September 18, between 12–2 and 4–8 at RJ Slater IV Funeral Home, located at 1000 Freeport Rd, New Kensington, PA 15068. A heartfelt funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 19, at St. Margaret Mary Church, 3055 Leechburg Rd, Lower Burrell. Interment will remain a private affair.

Gary's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His love, warmth, and passion for life will be dearly missed, leaving a void that can never truly be filled.
