Gary Edgar

Gary L. Edgar Sr., 74, of Lower Burrell, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022. He was born in New Kensington on March 8,1948, to the late James A. and Mary (McIntire) Edgar. Loving husband of Sandra Edgar of 47 years; father of Gary L. Edgar Jr., Charlotte (Todd) Washlaski, JoAnn Edgar (Mike Schindler), and Daniel Edgar (Brooke Sell). Grandfather of Rachel (Matt), Christopher (Jessica), Alexandria, Jenna, Molly, and Madelyn; great-grandfather of Liam, Camdyn, Kinsley, Parker, Darlene, Ivory, Jocelyn, and Miah. Survived by brother, Ron Edgar and many nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his siblings Donna Shaner, Mary M. Cornish, Henry, Bob, Jack, Ray, Don, and Jim Edgar. Gary was employed by PPG Industries Springdale for over 30 years. He enjoyed watching the Pirates and Steelers.His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and attending their special events.
