Gary Shupe

Gary Alan Shupe of North Huntington, PA was called home into the arms of the Lord on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024, at the age of 71 due to natural causes.

Gary was born in Painsville, OH, September 15th, 1952, preceded in death by his mother, Irene L. Huntington Shupe and his father, Robert V. Shupe and is survived by his wife Karen, his sons Brian [Alisha] Shupe, Steven [Joe] Shupe, sister Sheri Rader, nephews
John, Joel Rader, Jeff [Gabrielle] Arthur, and family, nieces Cherish Rader, Stephanie [Brandon] [Hicks], and family, Andrea Arthur.

Gary met the love of his life, Karen while attending Clarion University while pursing a degree in Bachelor of Arts. Gary was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Gary was an avid Civil War reenactor, one of the founding fathers of the Blue and Gray Brigade,
member of the New Hope Presbyterian Church, Boy Scouts of America, and the NRA.

In Gary’s spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family, camping and reading.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a memorial service of Gary’s life on Saturday, June 15th at 12:00 PM at New Hope Presbyterian Church, 12727 Lincoln Way, North Huntington, PA 15642. Lunch to follow the service.
