Gerald "Jerry" Kemp Jr, a beloved member of our community, passed away on October 18, 2023, at the age of 57. He was a cherished brother, a fun-loving uncle, a loyal friend, and a devoted dog owner. His presence in our lives will be sorely missed.
Born on April 10, 1966, in New Kensington to the late Linda (Bianco) Robinson, Jerry is survived by his loving sisters, Brenda (Michael) Lamar and Heather (Randy) Morgan, and his niece and nephews, Erica (Ian), Jacob (Jenn), and Chase, who were dear to his heart. He shared a special bond with his faithful canine companion, Pedro. He also considered Sean Contrael his "Brother From Another Mother," underscoring the strong friendships he cultivated in his lifetime.
A true Pittsburgher at heart, Jerry was a passionate fan of the Steelers. He held a love-hate relationship with the team, but his unwavering support was a testament to his loyalty. Jerry's musical tastes included the timeless melodies of Billy Joel and the electric energy of Kid Rock. He had a mischievous sense of humor and enjoyed playing pranks on his beloved family. To his family, he was known as the "Best Brother Ever," a sentiment that reflects the love and joy he brought into their lives.
