Heidi Lyn Clusta, a cherished resident of Barking, left us on November 13, 2023, surrounded by the warmth of her home. Born on September 19, 1975, in Pittsburgh, PA, Heidi was the beloved daughter of Wayne and the late Yvonne Brubach.
Heidi's journey led her to pursue a degree in hotel-motel management at C.C.A.C., a testament to her dedication and passion for hospitality. On November 25, 2000, she united in marriage with John, and together, they embraced the joys and challenges of life, raising two wonderful boys, David and Daniel. Heidi's nurturing spirit extended beyond her family as she dedicated her professional life to Amplify Church, where she served as a child care supervisor, leaving an indelible impact on those she cared for.
Her interests were as diverse as her heart was generous. Heidi found joy in the intricate world of arts and crafts, reveled in the excitement of Penguins hockey, and found purpose in caring for others, a testament to her compassionate nature.
Heidi is survived by her loving husband, John; her two cherished sons, David and Daniel; her father, Wayne; her brother and sister; and a host of nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
A celebration of Heidi's remarkable life will take place on December 9 at 11 AM at Amplify Church, 9400 Saltsburg Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15239. The celebration will be officiated by Jason Howard, a reflection of the impact Heidi had on those around her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to John Clusta or to Heidi's Venmo account @heidi-clusta, which will contribute to the final expenses of this beloved soul.
