James L. Conrad (Jim), 69, of Arnold passed away peacefully surrounded by his children on Friday, March 11, 2022. He was born in a small town outside of New Kensington on October 13, 1952 to Howard and Dorothy Conrad.
Jim graduated from Valley High School in 1972. He was a member of the Allegheny Valley Church of Christ. He was a simple man who would do anything he could for those he loved. He spent much of his time helping people close to him and many in his community. He enjoyed fixing things and working on cars. He found the most joy spending time with close family and friends in his garage. He looked forward to his Saturdays with his son.
He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings. He is survived by his four children, Leslie Sperski (Ron) of Arnold, Jamie Conrad of Allegheny Township, James Conrad (Shelley) of Bethel Park and Robert Conrad (Lisa) of Natrona Heights; the love of his life Kathy Conrad (Number 1) of New Kensington; several grandchildren, Taylor, Mallory, Katelyn, Jacob, Zeke, Bo, KayLeigh, Sophia, Aleeyah and Robbie; and one great grandchild Kolson; several close friends, cousins and most importantly his best friend of 60 years Dale Sylier of Arnold.
Services will be private for the immediate family. Any donations in his honor can be sent to the Allegheny Valley Church of Christ, 228 Marlboro Drive, New Kensington, PA 15068.
