James Nabozny

James Nabozny, of Oakmont, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2023, at the age of 73  at Canterbury Place with his family by his side. He was born in Lawrenceville on May 16, 1950 to the late John & Martha (Kaminski) Nabozny and spent most of his youth in Penn Hills.

Beloved husband of JoAnne (Carney)  for 33 loving years. Loving father of John (Nicole) Nabozny, Lynne Lang, Rebecca Nabozny  & step-son Donald (Susan) Thompson. Grandfather of 9. James was also the brother of Marti Ernst & Robert Nabozny.

In Jim’s free time he mostly enjoyed, fishing & Nascar, but made his life priority to support all his grandchildren attended various school, sports and family events.

Memorial service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday July 26 2023, in the Living Word of Plum Church 200 Elicker Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15239. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jim’s name to the church
