James Polas

James E. Polas, 68, of Lower Burrell, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023. Jimmy was born June 28, 1954, in New Kensington, to Florence and the late Nick Polas. He was the husband of Geraldine (Palazzi) Polas; loving father of Shawn Polas and stepdaughter, Rachel McRynolds; brother of Robert (Pamela) Polas; uncle of Robert (Monique) Polas and Bryan (Marisa) Polas; great-uncle of Monique and Brielle; and step-grandfather of Kiley Bowser. Jimmy is survived by his dog, Scooby, and was preceded in death by his father; his brothers, Tommy and Billy Polas; and his stepson Joey Bowser. Jimmy was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed fishing and playing golf. Per his request, there will be no public services. Arrangements entrusted to R.J.
