Janet Anne (Vassar) Mago
Janet Anne Vassar Mago, 83, of Natrona Heights, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2024. She was born on January 17, 1941, in Natrona Heights to the late Jules and Kathlyn (McCullough) Vassar.
Janet was the beloved mother of Theresa (Samuel) Mago Nichols, Stacie (the late Keith) McGrath, and Stephanie (the late Richard) Eagle. She was a cherished grandmother to Gabriel, Julie, Erin (Brandon), Ryan, and Amelia, and a proud great-grandmother to Nautica, Cazyn, and Kione. Janet is also survived by her brother, William L. (Kay Kennedy) Vassar, and her loving nieces and nephews, Kathlyn, Shane, and Nathan.
In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her granddaughter Amy McGrath, as well as her sons-in-law, Keith McGrath and Richard Eagle.
A graduate of East Deer High School, Class of 1958, Janet worked as a cook in various establishments in Brackenridge until her retirement in 1986. She was known for her love of family, strong spirit, and kind heart.
