Janet Wiley

Janet Wiley, devoted Christian and cherished member of Redemption Church, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on September 30, 2025, at the age of 79.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, to the late Frank and Eleanor Lasher, Janet shared a lifetime of love and devotion with her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clayton Wiley.

Janet is survived by her daughters, Karen (Dean) Ansilio and Sharie Wiley; her grandchildren, Christopher Wiley, Jadyn Sugajski, Gabrielle Sugajski, and Kabrynna Wiley; her great-grandchildren, Aiden and Summer Wiley; and her sister, Carol Beale.

Known for her warm heart and welcoming spirit, Janet lived a life full of joy, always surrounded by her family and countless friends. She delighted in baking, hosting Sunday and holiday dinners, and sharing her love and faith with everyone around her. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith touched all who knew her.

A public viewing will be held Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at RJ Slater IV Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1000 Freeport Rd, New Kensington, PA. (724-335-0100)

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM at RJ Slater IV Funeral Home & Cremation Service, with Pastor Fred Neil officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, New Kensington, PA.
