Jean Patricia McElhinney, 91, of Plum, PA, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Jean was born to Violet Morrone and Jack Geary on February 5, 1934 in Pittsburgh.
She was a graduate of Penn Hills High School. Jean married Arthur R. McElhinney Sr. in 1953 and went on to have four children: Arthur R. McElhinney Jr., Dennis McElhinney, Linda Webb, and Darlene Rauch.
Jean worked helping her late husband with his businesses and rental properties, as well as being a homemaker. Her family was the passion of her life and she adored them above all. Jean was generous, caring, and selfless. Spending time with her family, whether it be taking them on trips to the beach, enjoying time together at camp, or just having family dinners, was the joy of Jean's life.
Jean was predeceased by her husband Arthur R. McElhinney Sr. and her son Arthur R. McElhinney Jr. She is survived by her sister Carol Feltovich; brother Jarold Marrone; her son Dennis (Kate) McElhinney; her daughter Linda (Monty) Webb; her daughter Darlene (Gene) Rauch; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Private funeral arrangements will be made by the family.
