Jimmy Owen Parkhill

James Parkhill, 81, of Fawn Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 20, 1943, in New Kensington to the late James and Imogene Parkhill.

James was the beloved husband of Martina for 24 wonderful years. He was a loving father to Eric (Lisa) Parkhill and the late Gary (surviving daughter in law Vanessa) S. Parkhill. He was also a cherished stepfather to Lisa, Michele (Vinson), and Nicole (Shawn). James was a proud grandfather to Matt, Danny, Beth Ann, and Lee, as well as step-grandchildren Nicklas, Roman, Rayna, Isaac, Julia, and the late Sgt. Vinson. He was also a great-grandfather to Lincoln. James is survived by his niece Hollie and nephews Thomas and Jason. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Gary, as well as his sister, Barbara.

The family extends special thanks to Dr. Nghi Nguyen and Mary Jendrey for their exceptional care, and to Shawn and Holly Schaltenbrand for being wonderful neighbors who were always there for the family.

James dedicated 40 years of his career to Alcoa, a job that allowed him to travel the world for both work and pleasure. He was known for his kindness and willingness to help others. A proud member of the Outdoor Lodge, James greatly enjoyed his weekly meetings with the "Barn Boys."
