Joel Tamburo

Joel B. Tamburo, 71, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021 at home in New Kensington. Joel was a kind, loving man who enjoyed telling jokes, playing chess, listening to good music, watching movies and spending time with family and friends. He worked at Heinz USA for 25 years. Born July 14, 1950, Joel was the son of Carmella and the late Joseph R. Tamburo. He leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Joyce Clark Tamburo; sons Michael Tamburo and Nicholas Tamburo; mother Carmella Tamburo, brother David Tamburo; sister Anita Tamburo; Sisters-in-law Laura (Richard) Negley and Linda (William) Pease; brothers-in-law Robert (Donna) Clark, David (Renee) Clark and Richard Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews who will keep his memory alive sharing his jokes and funny stories.
A funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday, December 6, at Mount Saint Peter Roman Catholic Church, 100 Freeport Road, New Kensington PA 15068. Burial will be at Union Cemetery, 2030 Freeport Road, Arnold PA 15068. Masks are encouraged.
