John Paul Hecker, 68, of Lower Burrell and formerly of Butler, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022, surrounded by his boys. He was born on November 30, 1953, in New Kensington, to the late Howard and Christine (Ronaldo) Hecker. Beloved father of Sean and Steven Hecker, stepfather of Bryan Hunter, and grandfather of Samaura Hecker. Brother of Howard “Herk” Hecker Jr., Donald W. Hecker, Helen Spencer, and Darla Hooks. Uncle to Carol Shick and many nieces and nephews.
John was known for never missing a Steeler game on TV, his love of playing pool, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
