John H Lees

John H. Lees, Sr., 72, of Irwin, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, July 24, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, on January 16, 1954, he was the son of the late Robert and Rita Lees.

John was the beloved husband of Debbie (Bardwell) Lees, with whom he shared 57 wonderful years of marriage. He was a devoted father to Tammy (Ron) Edmonds and John H. Lees, Jr., and a proud and loving grandfather to Jacob Lees, Alex Edmonds, and Anna Edmonds. He is also survived by his siblings, Veronica Burgnoli, Robert E. Lees, Jr., and Laureen Eichelberger.

John had a lifelong passion for automobiles, especially his beloved Corvettes. He was a proud member of the Altoona Corvette Club and enjoyed many memorable camping trips with his family at Roaring Run. Above all else, John treasured the time he spent with his family. Whether gathered around a campfire, attending family events, or simply enjoying each other's company, those moments meant the most to him and will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

Per John's request there will be no viewing. A celebration of John's life will be held at 11:30 Friday in World of Life Church 4497 PA-136, Greensburg, PA 15601
