John Rucci

John I. Rucci of Arnold (for the last 35 years) passed away on April 15, 2023, at Murrysville Rehab and Wellness Center, Murrysville, PA. He was born in New Kensington, PA, on July 18, 1931, to the late John and Bambina Rucci.

Loving husband of Elaine (Polsinelli) Rucci for 38 years. Father of John B. Rucci, brother of Mary Ardisson, and uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, John was preceded in death by his brothers Alfonso and Joseph and sisters Nicolina Petricca, Christina McKale, and Ettorina Weblinger.

John proudly served 20 years in the United States Army worldwide, including tours in the Korean War and Vietnam War with the Americal Division. He was a life member of the Americal Division Veterans Association, the Disabled American Veterans, and VFW Post 92 Lower Burrell.

John’s family would like to give special thanks to Tom. & Barb Rushnock, Toni Guzzi, Murrysville Rehab, and the VA for all the help and care they have given.
