Ruby, Joseph, “Joe”

Joseph A. Ruby, “Joe/Joey”, of Pittsburgh (Hazelwood), Pennsylvania, passed peacefully on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the age of 64. Joe had a heart of gold, a gentle spirit, was always soft spoken, and greeted everyone with a smile. He loved all sports and was a super fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins. Joe also enjoyed music and was an avid Rolling Stones fan. Joe was very much loved by his family and friends and cared strongly for his Facebook family. Joe’s laugh, kindheartedness and love will always be remembered, and he will be deeply missed. May he rest in peace. Joe is survived by his son Richard, brothers Mark (Colleen) and Wayne (Patty) Ruby. Joe is also survived by his grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Ruby and Lue Bartholomew (Ruby) and his previous wife Deborah. Celebrate Joe’s life by sharing stories and laughing with your loved ones, watching sports with your favorite people, and by remembering him when listening to your favorite Rolling Stones songs.
