Joseph Schaffhauser, 77, of Ford City, passed away on Wednesday, Dec 7, 2022.
He was born in Kittanning, Pa., on Aug. 19, 1945.
Joseph is survived by his son, Frank; grandson, Brady Schaffhauser; and his sister, Joan Litavec.
As a young man, Joseph worked in the town's factory, served in the National Guard and coached basketball. He left Ford City to pursue a career in horse racing and started a family before returning to Ford City, to live out the last years of his life.
