Joyce Korhummel-Dell

Joyce Korhummel-Dell, 69, of Brentwood, CA passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at Arden Courts in Monroeville, PA. She was born in Burlingame, CA, the daughter of the late Thomas S. and Jeanette Elizabeth Rutherford. Joyce was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening, cultivating roses, 5K runs, neighborhood walks, boating, outdoor activities, and caring for her beloved miniature dachshunds, Abbie (faithful companion) and Sadie.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, John W. Dell, daughter Britney A. Decker (Ryan), son Brandon W. Dell, sister-in-law Christine Yenchik (Duane), brother Thomas S. Rutherford (Dorene), grandson Jose Rivera, Jr (Izzy), granddaughter Natalie Decker, nephews David T. Rutherford and Samuel J. Rutherford, and nieces Elizabeth E. Meza and Mary F. Rutherford.

The family would like to thank the staff at Arden Courts and Bridges Hospice for Joyce's outstanding care, especially in the final stages of dementia. There will be no visitation; memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a future date in the San Francisco Bay Area.
