Karen Hecker

Karen V. Hecker, 74, of Lower Burrell, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021. On September 30, 1946, she was born in Harrisburg to the late Gilbert and Bessie (Bachman) Anderson.

In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by five siblings and a grandson, Adam N.G. Hecker. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Donald Hecker; her children, Ronald D. (Rochelle) Hecker, Debra K. (Todd) Miller, and Andrea K. (Tom) Hecker; her beloved grandchildren Brandon P. Niver, Zachary Hecker, Steven G Miller; eight siblings and many nieces and nephews.

Karen loved to read, play cards, and could pick up a conversation with just about anyone. By far, her greatest joy was spending time with her kids, grandkids, and anyone that she could support that was in need. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
