In Loving Memory of Karen Jean Lloyd
Karen Jean Lloyd, a beloved resident of New Kensington, passed away at the age of 76, joining her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, following a valiant battle with cancer. She was born on May 12, 1947, to her late parents, Ribello and Derna (Leonardi) Posati. Karen's memory will be cherished by her family and friends, and her legacy will continue through her loved ones.
Karen is survived by her husband of 56 years, Joel Thomas Lloyd, her son Joel Stephen (Sheri) Lloyd, and her daughter Jamie Lynn (Terrence) Husar. Her memory will also live on through her cherished grandchildren: Travis and Taylor Lloyd, as well as Alexis, Ezra, and Rebekah Husar. She was a loving sister to Jeffrey Posati and a doting aunt to Janet (Jeff) Gillette. Karen was also a great aunt to Jordan and Jocelyn Gillette.
She was preceded in death by her beloved nephew, Craig Posati, and her sister-in-law, Rose Marie Posati.
Karen's life was filled with joy and love. She cherished moments spent with family and friends, relished in the art of cooking, found solace in camping and the beauty of travel, and enjoyed scenic rides through the countryside and parks. Her heart swelled with joy while watching Christian programs and, above all, in the presence of her precious grandchildren.
In accordance with Karen's wishes, there will be no public services. The arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Rj Slater IV Funeral Home & Cremation Services in New Kensington. For further information, please contact 724-335-0100 or visit www.rjslater.com.
