Kevin Andrew “Chucky” Thom, 54, of Greensburg, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024, with his family by his side. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on February 28, 1970, to Ken (Jean) Thom and Maryellen Luehm.
Kevin was a loving husband to Lori for 32 wonderful years. He was the cherished father of Ian (Nichole) Thom and the late Brittany Wier (surviving fiancé Jake Wyant). Kevin was a proud grandfather to Eli and Ava-Rose Wyant, and Kamden, Ethan, and Scarlett Thom.
He was a beloved brother to Karen (Bob) Onder, Kim (Rex) Gregory, Kristwn Hamer, Robbie (Lisa) Williams, and Doug (Lisa) Williams.
Kevin dedicated over 30 years of his life as an auto technician, most recently working for Downtown Hyundai in Nashville, TN. After being diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer, Kevin and Lori decided to move back to Greensburg in October 2023 to be closer to family and friends. Kevin had a passion for helping friends with their cars and loved exploring waterfalls and hiking in Tennessee with Lori. He also treasured the time spent with his grandchildren. Kevin enjoyed dining out and always strived to make those around him happy, doing everything he could to help others.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Paul Hajducko, Joe (Dago) Cignetti, and friends at Mike Camlin Hyundai of Greensburg for their support and kindness since Kevin and Lori returned from Nashville.
A private memorial will be held by the family at a later date. Arrangements and have been entrusted to RJ Slater IV Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1000 Freeport Rd, New Kensington.
