Kim Darlene Snyder, 69, of Springdale, PA, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2024. Born on January 1, 1955, she was the cherished daughter of the late Darwin and Mary (George) Shoop.
Kim was the devoted mother of Rachel (Russell) Hank, Matthew Snyder, and the late Jason Snyder. She was a proud and loving grandmother to 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Kim was also a beloved sister to Sue Murphy and Darwin (Mary) Shoop.
Known for her warm and welcoming nature, Kim was a dedicated community figure, especially through her involvement in the Boy Scouts, where she played a vital role in shaping young lives. She loved camping trips with her family and was affectionately regarded by all as the "neighborhood mom."
A Celebration of Life in honor of Kim will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 6:00 PM at Saint Mark's Lutheran Church, 600 Pittsburgh Street, Springdale, PA 15144. Family, friends, and neighbors are warmly invited to come together and share memories.
