Marcia Smock

Marcia Smock, 68, of New Kensington passed away Thursday, August 8th, at her home.  Marcia was born in South Buffalo Twp., Armstrong Co. PA on May 12, 1951, the daughter of the late Helen M. (Rummel) and Charles  L. Smock.  She worked for many years as a customer service rep. with CVS/ Caremark in Monroeville and retired in 2007.  Marcia enjoyed shopping for herself and her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Marcia is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Ronald & Kristen Hawk, of Saxonburg; her daughter and son-in-law, Dawn & Joseph Thompson, of East Vandergrift; grandchildren; Austin and Emily Thompson, Justin, Nathan, Kayla, Brandon & Kenny Hawk.  Marcia is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Rose & Harold Walter, of Templeton.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James D. Hawk; brother, William C. Smock; and an infant sister, Sheryl G. Smock. A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 15th at 11 AM in Clinton United Presbyterian Church 197 Glade Mill Rd.
