Margaret “Sis” McKean, 85, of Apollo, passed away on November 17, 2021. On April 3, 1936, she was born to the late William and Violet (Marrow) Peace. Sis is survived by her son and caregiver, Harold “Eddie” McKean, her son William “Bill” (Jodi) McKean, and her daughter Schrel (Christine Trusdell) McKean; 7 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers Harold “Punk” and Lewis “Mack" Peace; as well as, many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Sis was preceded in death by her husband Blaine McKean her two sons, Gary and Bryan McKean, and six brothers William, John, Samuel Thomas, Robert, Ronald, and George Peace.
Sis enjoyed watching her game shows and the Steelers on Sunday.
When Margaret lost her home in a fire, family, friends & the community came together to rebuild. At Margaret’s request there will be no viewing or services. Instead, she asked that when family and friends pass by her home, just know that this was her happy place.
