Marilyn Stanley

Marilyn Anne Stanley, of Arnold, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018, with her family by her side. Marilyn was born Aug. 20, 1949, in Vandergrift to the late J. Paul and Marjorie Stanley. She was a graduate of Kiski Area High School in 1968 and went on to attend ICM. Marilyn was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Natrona Heights. She is survived by her sisters, Kathy (Howard) Russell, of Natrona Heights, and Paula (the late Ronald) Yedlowski, of Arnold; and her brother, Jim (Celia) Stanley, of Virginia Beach. She was aunt to six nieces and nephews; and great-aunt to 15 great-nieces and -nephews. Marilyn loved being with family and traveling, and was an avid reader. Family and friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at RJ SLATER IV FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 1000 Freeport Road, New Kensington, 724-335-0100. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dr. Andrew Spore officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Apollo. www.rjslater.com.
