Marlane Matey

Marlane J. (Messick) Matey, 75, of Turtle Creek, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pa, on August 5, 1947, to the late William and Norma Messick.

Marlane is survived by her adoring husband of 56 years, Leonard. Her children Kenneth Matey and Jacquelyn (Ralph) Pitsch, Nickie her golden retriever puppy, and four siblings. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother.

Marlane enjoyed going to dinner, dancing, bowling in her couples league, and watching game shows with her son Kenny. Above all, spending time with family and son in law is what brought her the most joy.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 1 until 4 p.m. at the American Legion Post 868, 1100 Wildlife Lodge Rd., Lower Burrell, Pa. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:30 with Pastor Paul Barton officiating.
