Marlin Thrower

Marlin "Huck" Thrower, 80, of New Kensington Pa, passed away on June 30, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He was the beloved husband of 55 years to Darla L Thrower and the loving father of Kelli (Randall) Thrower-Williams, Staci Thrower, Marlin Thrower, Henry Rivers, MSG, Army Fort Hood, TX.

He is survived by his siblings Margaret "Jeanette" Fullwood Charlotte NC, Jimmietta "Fe-Fe" (Charlie) Jordan West Palm FL, Marcia Fuquay, and Michael Fuquay both of New Kensington Pa, and was preceded in death by his Mother Arlean Thrower-Fuquay, Father James Fullwood, Son Christopher Thrower- Miller, his Brother Robert L. Walton, and Great- Granddaughter Skylie Swann.

He was a cherished grandfather to Eboni Thrower, Geoffrey Fuquay, Jayde Thrower, Lanai Thrower, Anthony Swann, Trinity Thrower, London Thrower, and Maverick Thrower. He was also a proud great-grandfather of Jaymari Thrower, K'Ren Thompson, Salea Swann. Along with a Host of Nieces and Nephews.

Marlin served as a SGT in the United States Army then on to work his long career at General Motors and retired after 37 years. He enjoyed basketball, football and softball. He was a member of Valley Lodge #294 of New Kensington, PA.

Above all, Marlin treasured spending time with family and friends, which was his greatest joy.
