Marthajane “MJ” (Levendosky) Fularz, 80, of Lower Burrell, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023. She was born on December 24, 1942, in New Kensington, to the late Bernard & Stella (Levendosky) Lewandowski.
MJ was the beloved wife of Theodore “Ted” Fularz for 57 loving years; dear mother of Craig (Lauren) Fularz, Christopher (Karen) Fularz, Stacy (Timothy) Sluser; grandmother of Theodore, Timothy, Adam, and Alek; sister of Carol (Matthew) Kristofik and Jan (Lori) Lewandowski; sister-in-law of Richard Fularz, Joseph (Linda) Fularz and Denise Fularz and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
MJ graduated from Saint Joseph High School in Natrona, Pa, and retired from Verizon as a Service Representative in 2001. She was a member of St. Mary Czestochowa Church in New Kensington.
MJ enjoyed taking care of her home and tending to her garden. She was a talented prolific seamstress and quilter who loved sewing for family and selling her creations at various craft fairs in the area.
A memorial mass will be held Friday February 3, 2023 at 11 am in St. Mary Czestochowa Church in New Kensington.
